What You Can Expect

If your Ranger has the 2.0 EcoBlue diesel engine (from 2019), it uses a Ford SID212 ECU. We have the specialist tools to carry out SID212 remapping on the Ranger. If your Ranger has the older 3.2 TDCi engine, we remap that too.

Your Ranger’s 2.0 EcoBlue and 3.2 TDCi engine responds well to remapping. Gains vary by variant — check your specific Ranger here — but you should see a noticeable improvement in:

Towing torque — stronger pull at low revs when fully loaded or hitched up
Throttle response — less lag, especially useful off-road or in traffic
